Day 1 – Nassau – Harbour Island
Harbour Island (called “Briland” by the locals ) is a small, popular holiday island in the north of Eleuthera – famous for pink sand beaches – only city is Dunmore with lovely shops and restaurants – pretty colonial houses
Day 2 – Harbour Island – Eleuthera
Eleuthera is almost 180 kilometers long, and only max eight kilometers wide – at the narrowest point in the north of the island the “Glass Window Bridge” offers fantastic views of two seas: Caribbean and Atlantic – pink sand beaches, many dream coves, grottos and caves – picturesque villages. “Devils Backbone” with its reefs is considered ane excellent diving spot.
Day 3 – Eleuthera – Warderick Wells Cay
The island Warderick Wells Cay is the headquarters of the Exuma Cay Lands and Sea Park – interesting Park Visitor Center – many hiking trails – good for snorkeling – diverse nature: sand dunes, cliffs, mangroves …
Day 4 – Warderick Wells Cay – Staniel Cay
Small island with only 100 inhabitants – Thunderball Grotto, location of James Bond movies “Thunderball” and “Never Say Never” – snorkeling in the cave as 007 – Yacht Club
Day 5 – Staniel Cay – Big Major
Neighboring island of Staniel Cay – famous for the “swimming pig”s that live here on the island, fed by travelers
Day 6 – Big Major – Highbourne Cay
8 dream beaches accessible from the Marina by foot – sheltered bay “Horseshoe Bay” is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking – for diving: the wreck of the cutter Austin Smith
Day 7 – Highbourne Cay – Allan’s Cay
Neighboring island of Higbourne Cay – famous for the many iguanas on the beach – a protected National Park
Day 8 – Allan’s Cay – Nassau
